MICRO LINKS

Also known as I-tip or beads. Individual strands of hair extensions are connected to the natural hair with silicone lined beads. No heat or adhesive is used in this process and is gentle on the hair.

HAND TIED

Natural looking, discreet and non damaging to the natural hair. Hair is sectioned into a wefted row with silicone beads and the extension hair weft is sewn in to the hair section. This expert technique puts even and light tension on the natural hair. Removal is simple an quick

FAQ’s

How long does my hair need to be for extensions? 

For extension to look natural when adding length, one's hair should be a minimum of shoulder length. All hair differs so a consultation will give you more information. A french bob (at chin) can have fashion extensions or thickening extensions cut at the same length. 

How much will my appointment cost?

The range is too wide to determine this answer without an in person consultation. We charge $30 for a consultation and it goes towards your future implementation appointment, if you choose to do so. Extensions with new hair can range from $150 up to over $2,000. See our range on the services extension page for more information. 

What extensions do you offer and are best for my hair type?

Fine hair does best with tape in pairs or the hand tied method. Many clients prefer a blend of both types. European and Chinese hair blends best with fine hair. 

Thick, high density and coarser hair blends better with hand tied, wefts and hand bonding. Indian remy hair matches and blends with this texture well.

We only purchase the best hair on the market. We take pride in our skill and services we offer with hair extensions. Many of us at Sasha Moon Salon wear extensions on a regular basis so it is important for us to use and wear the highest quality hair.

Can I order stick-straight or curly extensions to match my natural hair?

Yes. Although most hair extensions in our market are received packaged as straight, they tend to have a natural soft wave to them when washed. This is easy to style out and curl or straighten. 

We also do have curly hair extensions! Ranging from 2a to 3b. (See our Curly Hair page for more information on curl types!)

We also offer smoothing treatments on extensions for an extra charge, however altering the extension hair can shift the color tone the extension hair is ordered in. 

If I want to change my color should I color my natural hair first? 

Yes, you should get your hair colored first before adding extensions. Extensions can be colored darker (not lighter as the chemical compounds have a strange effect) and have the stylist match your desired extensions to end color result.
